AI-enabled communications counsel · Dubai

Intelligence informs influence.

An intelligence and content practice for executives and comms leaders, built on twelve years inside the world's toughest news markets and six advising the boards that move them. OPEC rooms, price-setting desks, a Fortune Global 500 spin-off.

Start with the stance ↓

§ 01 · The stance

Your audience can smell it a mile away.

Too much of what companies publish is drafted by a machine and shipped without a second look. Readers can tell, and they quietly stop reading.

We take the opposite bet. AI belongs on the reading side: monitoring, sorting, measuring. People belong on the writing side. Feeling, wit and judgment are the job.

Exhibit A · the slop

“We are thrilled to announce a game-changing, AI-powered synergy that unlocks unprecedented value across our ecosystem.”

Rejected
Exhibit B · the human

“We spent years fixing this. It broke more than once. Here’s what we learnt.”

Both exhibits illustrative · Neither is a client statement

§ 02 · The practice

Six things, done properly.

01
The flagship

The Daily IQ

A private morning briefing on the news, competitors and conversation that matter to your business, chosen and written plainly by someone who knows your patch. Edited before it leaves the building.

02

Tone of voice, codified

Your executives’ and your brand’s voice, defined precisely enough that machines can draft in it and humans can defend it in a boardroom.

03

Executive positioning

Thought-leadership narratives, bylines and platforms for senior leaders. Built from what you actually believe, which is why it holds up.

04

Channel-fit content

The right story, shaped for the right channel. A LinkedIn post is not a press release is not a keynote. We stopped pretending otherwise.

05

Reporting & dashboards

What moved, why it moved and what to do next, in figures a board will actually read.

06

Crisis counsel

When it goes wrong at speed, judgment matters more than volume. Counsel from someone who has made the crisis call as a journalist and answered it for a Fortune Global 500.

Every edition of The Daily IQ is built for one client: your market, your competitors, your morning. That’s why there’s no sample here. Instead, the first week is on me: five tailored editions, no obligation. If that’s worth a look, write to me.

§ 03 · The system

Machine intelligence. Human quotient.

  1. Step 01MonitorMachine
  2. Step 02DistilMachine
  3. Step 03DraftHuman ●
  4. Step 04ApproveHuman ●
  5. Step 05PublishMachine
  6. Step 06MeasureMachine

The red steps are people. The machinery works so they can think. Nothing publishes itself.

§ 04 · The safeguards

Confidences, kept.

Discretion first.

NDAs before documents move. Client material stays between us.

Your data is not training data.

Nothing a client shares is used to train models, and nothing enters shared AI systems without written agreement. Sensitive work can run on private, local models.

Within the law.

Built to operate under the data-protection rules that apply to you: the UAE’s PDPL at home, the UK and EU GDPR where clients bring them.

Nothing publishes itself.

Every word passes a human approval gate before it leaves the building. The red steps above are a security control as much as an editorial one.

§ 05 · From the founder

I spent twelve years reporting energy markets, at Dow Jones / the Wall Street Journal, ICIS, Energy Intelligence and Argus Media. Then six more inside two of the Fortune Global 500, running communications for Siemens, Siemens Energy and Schneider Electric Middle East & Africa, with work directed into more than eighty countries.

Along the way I built ServeIQ AI, a live AI platform, with my own hands. Building it taught me what these machines are genuinely good at, and exactly where they’ll embarrass you.

ServeIQ PR is what I wanted on the other side of the desk: a practice that reads widely, misses little and doesn’t write like a machine. If that sounds like the kind of help you’re after, write to me.

§ 06 · The engagement

Bring me in.

The Daily IQ runs every morning whether or not I’m in the room. This is the other half of the practice: work I take on myself, for comms leaders who want a second opinion from someone who has been the journalist asking and the executive answering.

01

Comms consultancy

An outside read on the thing you’re too close to: positioning, messaging, the announcement that has been sliding down the agenda for a month. You get a judgment and the reasoning behind it, in a week rather than a quarter.

02

Content creation

Bylines, keynotes, board notes and the LinkedIn post that sounds like the person whose name is on it. Written by someone who spent twelve years being edited by people who didn’t care about your quarter.

03

Communications strategy support

For teams who have a strategy and want it stress-tested, or have a plan and want somebody to argue with. Narrative, channel mix, the twelve months ahead, written up so your board reads it and your team can run it.

04

Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)

When somebody asks an AI engine about your market, whose names come back? I find out which sources those answers draw on, and hand you the plan to get yours among them.

Every engagement starts with a conversation about whether I’m the right person for it, and sometimes the answer is no. iain@serveiqpr.com reaches me directly, with no form and no discovery call with somebody who isn’t me.

§ 07 · The IQ

A weekly note on AI & influence.

The IQ is our public weekly note. One idea, one number, one thing to stop doing. Written by a human. Obviously.
